We are always told to be grateful, and while we should be, we are usually reminded whenever something negative happens. Whenever we complain or express disapproval about our circumstances, someone is there to tell us to “be grateful” because “it could be worse.”

But what happens when we really experience an attitude of gratitude without all of the negativity?
