Aquarius season (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) is upon us and while folks are busy repping how much better their sign is than the other 11 (yawn), I, the Sexy Sagittarius (sly grin), have decided to be more diplomatic. No sign is better than the rest. The elements and distribution of strengths in certain areas won’t allow that.
In honor of this air sign’s time to shine, here are five reasons why they are wonderful, particularly why you may want to consider dating one.
1. They are determined.
The Aquarius man or woman has a level of ambition that isn’t matched by any other sign of the zodiac. These water bearers are natural visionaries who are not afraid to dream big. If you have a vision they will be one of the first to encourage you to push forward with it while actively assisting you in moving your doubts aside.
2. They are cause driven.
There are some folks who can work a job and have no real ties to it other than a paycheck and livelihood …forever. Then there is the Aquarius. Rarely will you see this air sign working a gig that they do not believe in. The Aquarius man or woman is heavily into purposeful actions and that includes their line of work.
Note: With that being said, if they commit to you then know it is because they see a valuable reason and not because it is the convenient thing to do.
3. They are individualistic.
If you happen to be at a Black Tie affair and spot a guy in Chuck Taylor’s as opposed to fancy dress shoes, he’s most likely an Aquarius. Very much like the Sagittarius, these water bearers believe in marching to the beat of their own drum, no matter what’s playing in the background. So if you’re into lovers like no other, get you one.
4. They are adventurous.
One day she’ll be discussing what to cook for dinner. The next? She’s hopping on a plane to France. The Aquarian does not wait on or for anyone. If they wish to go overseas then that is exactly where you’ll find them. Whether he’s covered in a string of tattoos and piercings or bungee jumping off of the side of a building, this sign is sure to live a life of experiences. If you want more predictability, then I suggest you date a Taurus.
5. They know how to lighten up.
I’m not going to sit here and pretend like Aquarians aren’t intense as all hell. This sign is serious and boy do you have to be prepared to confront major topics and issues often. But as much as they are serious, they are playful and fun. You can talk about the state of America one minute and be dancing at the club the next. Who doesn’t love variety?
